Just a quick update;

We now have the keys, and will soon have the last of the vocals recorded.  Too bad it isn't done by Christmas!  We could have taken care of all of our presents at once.  Oh well, it's fruitcake for everyone...

The Broken

The Broken was founded originally in 2007 by Mike Gizzi as a worship band for Seaside Church in Bremerton, Washington. After several early personnel changes, The Broken solidified as Mike Gizzi(Guitars & Vocals), Jeremy Daniel(Guitar & BGV's), Cam Goffrier(Bass & BGV's), Christina Petoff(BGV's), Chris Brooks(Drums) and most recently Jayme Arries(Keys & BGV's). The Broken has a melodic, yet dark guitar-driven sound coupled with the ability to ratchet back to create a musical dynamic not common in modern, contemporary circles. The Broken is an eclectic gathering of musicians with backgrounds as diverse as they come. i.e. gutterpunk, reggae, speed metal, hip-hop. blues, powercore and psychobilly. Their mission and driving force is to play music the way it was intended to be played-soaked in emotion; drenched in dynamics...but above all, authentic in lyric and delivery...in spirit and truth.
